Balloon Festival

Our town hosted the Freedom Balloon Festival during Memorial Day weekend. It was a lot of fun!

We walked up the road to catch a shuttle to the event.

Dazie decided to steal someone's seat.

The glow was amazing!

Part of May

This is how we do yard work around here.

Privacy please...

Sprinkler fun...

April

Trying to catch up on latest events!

I'm amazed at how much she has grown.

Dazie loves to vacuum with us. I found a vacuum cleaner just her size and she LOVES it.

She also got a new wagon that she just can't get enough of.

She sure loves her "DaDa". When he works outside she waits by the window so she can wave and periodically wants to bring "wawa" (water) out to him. She's so thoughtful!

One of her favorite things to do is make funny faces especially when the camera is out.

March

Here are some pictures and stories from March since I haven't updated lately.

Daycare Easter Egg Hunt:
This was her second hunt, so I figured she would be more involved this time. Well, after picking up a few, she lost interest and wanted to go in the sandbox and down the slide.

Nap Time:
Instead of napping, I caught her reading about Jesus.
Look at those eyes peering above the crib.

Pepere:
Or as she calls him "PepPep"
Every interaction between them is so precious.

Big Slide:
Can't you tell from that smile that she absolutely loved it?

My little one

She's grown so much. She's so big, yet still small. She's beautiful inside and out. She's strong. She's sweet and kind hearted. Her smile lights up any moment. Her laugh is infectious.

She is my daughter. I am incredibly blessed. I am so thankful that God chose us to be her parents.

She also needs a brother or sister.  ;)

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday our town had an egg "hunt". At first, Dazie just stared in wonder at all the people and eggs. She was hesitant but quickly became excited and was hard to hold her back until the "hunt" began.

Dazie was very particular about the eggs she picked up. She would bend down to look at some and then get up and walk to another pile five feet away. As other kids had a basket overflowing with eggs, Dazie had only chosen a select few. She was even kind enough to hand some to other children or place eggs in their baskets.

She was also very concerned about the eggs that had rolled outside of the fence.

She seemed to have a great time. When all the eggs had disappeared she grabbed her bag and with a great big grin, headed to the parking lot.
"Bye, Bye!"

Muffins

Dazie absolutely LOVES to help us out. She helped me on Friday night with baking some muffins.

She put the ingredients on the counter, pulled up a chair, and helped mix ingredients.

She was so excited about them. She kept going to the oven to wave at them and watch.

And this is how she waited from the muffins...
