Let the Journey Begin
Early in our relationship (even before marriage was discussed) I can remember how we both expressed our love for children and that some day we would want to foster or adopt. I believe adoption was in our hearts long before then and just waiting for God to put it in our path at the right time.
The past few years have been very trying and difficult as we tried to make our own little family. We know that God brought us through all the pain and heartache, stronger and closer to each other and Himself. Now God has fully awakened the desire to adopt. We are preparing to answer the call.

Informational meetings

Finally done with all paperwork (maybe)
Waiting for our home study to be scheduled
June 2012:
Started our home study!
July 2012:
Still working on that home study and more paperwork
August 2012:
16 Last home study meeting...meeting at our home
September 2012:
Home study paperwork turned in by our social worker
October 2012:
All home study finalized so we are now officially "waiting"
March 2013:
Still waiting...Time to update paperwork
July 29, 2014:
We got the call! A baby girl is waiting for us!

We met our daughter, Dazie Grace, for the first time!
